Refran: "Your clothing is someone else’s living hell."
Card Description: none
Student Biography: My name is Jorge Alfaro and I was born and raised here in Santa Maria all of my life. I live with my mother and 3 other sisters, I am the second oldest out of us four. My hobbies are playing basketball, going to the gym, and going out with friends. My plans after high school are very straight forward, I will be going to Hancock to get my EMT license and perhaps my bachelors degree and afterwards going to fire academy up in Los Angeles to get certificates for my firefighting resume. I hope to be in the fire service soon. The message I am trying to get out of my Loteira Card is about human trafficking and how it’s often thought as. When people think of human trafficking they think It’s a man in disguise with a van working in the night trying to find victims and that is what I painted. Human trafficking isn’t just about illegal sex but there’s different illegal labors for it. Human trafficking is still a very big problem world wide for every country in this world and there isn’t much awareness on it. Human trafficking should be brought up a lot more in hopes to prevent more cases from happening.
